About the speaker:

Dr David Shiffman is an interdisciplinary marine conservation biologist whose research focuses on the ecology and conservation of chondrichthyan fishes. Using cutting-edge interdisciplinary methods, Dr Shiffman is able to answer policy-relevant questions about threatened species of public concern. He is a member of the IUCN Red list Shark Specialist Group.
